Johann Kroll is licensed in the state of South Carolina in the life, health and accidental insurance markets. He specializes in assisting Visionary Insurance Advocates’ clients to the most suitable Medicare plans and life insurance policies.

Johann has been appointed by all the major health and life insurance carriers and has tremendous knowledge of the products available to residents of the Lowcountry. He has been a member of Visionary Insurance Advocates since its inception.
A native of Minneapolis, Minn., Johann received a bachelor’s degree in finance at the Fisher School of Business at Ohio State University. During his time there, he was a four-time academic All-Big 10 selection and served as acCaptain on the men’s varsity hockey team his senior year.
After graduation, Johann went on to play hockey professionally in the AHL and ECHL and helped the South Carolina Stingrays win the Kelly Cup in 2009.

He was awarded the Jerry Zucker Community Service Award for his service and dedication to the Lowcountry, and continues to serve as a member of Hockey Players 4 Kids, an international charity to help disadvantaged youth. While playing hockey professionally, Johann also passed all three Chartered Financial Analyst exams.
Johann and his wife Kaitlin happily reside in West Ashley.
